1. About TryToDethrone.me

TryToDethrone.me ("the Site," "we," "us," or "our") operates a single rotating advertising spot. At any given time, one advertiser ("the King") holds the spot. Their ad is displayed prominently on the Site until a subsequent purchaser pays the then-current price and takes the spot. Each purchase raises the price for the next purchaser according to a percentage-based increment set by the operator.

The Site is operated by DevNasCode and is accessible at trytodethroneme.com and any associated subdomains.

2. Eligibility

By purchasing, you represent and warrant that:

• You are at least 18 years of age.
• You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract.
• You are not located in a jurisdiction where such transactions are prohibited.
• The ad content you submit complies with all applicable laws and these Terms.
• You are authorized to use the payment method provided.

3. How the Throne Works

The mechanics of the Site are as follows:

• One advertising spot ("the Throne") is available at all times.
• You pay the current listed price to submit your ad for review.
• Upon admin approval, your ad goes live and you become the current holder ("the King").
• The price increases after each approved purchase by a percentage set by the operator.
• Your ad remains live until another person pays the then-current price and their ad is approved.
• When dethroned, your ad is removed and your entry is permanently added to the war record (leaderboard).
• There is no set duration for how long you will hold the Throne — it depends entirely on whether another buyer purchases after you.

4. Ad Submission and Approval

All ad submissions are subject to review and approval at our sole discretion. We reserve the right to reject any submission for any reason, including but not limited to:

• Content that is illegal, obscene, defamatory, threatening, or harassing.
• Content that infringes on any third party's intellectual property rights.
• Content that promotes violence, discrimination, or hate speech.
• Content that is misleading, fraudulent, or deceptive.
• Adult content of any kind.
• Content promoting illegal products or services.
• Competitor sites designed to imitate or undermine TryToDethrone.me.
• Any content we deem, in our sole discretion, to be inappropriate or inconsistent with the spirit of the Site.

If your submission is rejected, your payment will be refunded in full within 5–10 business days to your original payment method. The price will be rolled back to its pre-purchase level.

Approval typically occurs within a few hours of purchase but is not guaranteed within any specific timeframe. We are not liable for delays in approval.

5. Payment

All purchases are processed through Stripe, a third-party payment processor. By making a purchase, you also agree to Stripe's Terms of Service. We do not store your full payment card details.

All prices are listed in US Dollars (USD). You are responsible for any applicable taxes, currency conversion fees, or bank charges.

The price displayed at the time you initiate the payment process is the price you will be charged. In the unlikely event that the price changes between page load and payment confirmation (due to a simultaneous purchase by another user), we will contact you to confirm or cancel.

6. Refund Policy

Our refund policy is as follows:

• Rejected submissions: Full refund, automatically processed within 5–10 business days.
• Approved ads that have gone live: No refund. Once your ad is approved and live on the Site, the purchase is final. Being dethroned by a subsequent buyer does not entitle you to a refund.
• Approved ads pending go-live: Contact us within 1 hour of purchase at hello@trytodethroneme.com. Cancellation before approval may be accommodated at our discretion.
• Technical issues: If a verified technical failure on our part prevented your approved ad from displaying, we will work with you to either re-display your ad or issue a partial or full refund at our discretion.

7. Chargebacks and Disputes

If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or card issuer for a purchase that was approved and displayed, we reserve the right to:

• Immediately remove your ad from the Site.
• Permanently ban you from making future purchases.
• Dispute the chargeback with supporting documentation.
• Pursue recovery of any associated chargeback fees.

We encourage you to contact us directly at hello@trytodethroneme.com before initiating any dispute. We are reasonable people and will work with you to resolve genuine issues.

8. Intellectual Property

By submitting ad content (including text, images, and URLs), you represent and warrant that:

• You own or have the rights to use all content submitted.
• Your content does not infringe on any third party's copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights.
• You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display your submitted content on the Site for the duration of your reign and permanently in the war record thereafter.

The war record is a permanent historical log of all past kings. Your name, ad title, purchase price, and reign duration will remain on the war record indefinitely, even after you are dethroned. This is a core feature of the product. By purchasing, you consent to this permanent display.

9. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Submit false or misleading information during purchase.
• Attempt to manipulate the pricing system through multiple accounts or coordinated purchases.
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the Site.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site or its infrastructure.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Site's operation or servers.

10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

THE SITE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WE DO NOT GUARANTEE ANY SPECIFIC NUMBER OF VISITORS, IMPRESSIONS, CLICKS, OR CONVERSIONS FROM YOUR AD DISPLAY. THE ADVERTISING VALUE OF THE THRONE IS SPECULATIVE AND ENTIRELY DEPENDENT ON ORGANIC SITE TRAFFIC.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR YOUR PURCHASE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR YOUR PURCHASE.

WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS OR REVENUE, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless TryToDethrone.me, DevNasCode, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site, your ad content, or your violation of these Terms.

12. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Site shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Los Angeles County, California, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.

BY PURCHASING, YOU WAIVE YOUR RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL AND YOUR RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT.

13. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be noted by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Site or making a purchase after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We recommend reviewing these Terms before each purchase.
